The HJC RPHA 31 open-face helmet combines a Premium Integrated Matrix (PIM) Evo shell with multi-density EPS to provide enhanced shock-resistant performance, comfort, and lightness. Its aerodynamic shell design reduces air resistance and promotes stability at high speed, while extensive wind tunnel development helps create a quieter, more refined ride.

A Pinlock 120XLT DKS467-ready HJ-39 shield provides 99% UV protection and features an anti-scratch coating. The integrated smoke-tinted sun visor uses an anti-fog coating for clear viewing and deploys through a bottom-positioned operation system. Its multi-step adjustment allows the visor to be positioned closer to the face for personalized shading and comfort.

Airflow is supported by two intake vents and four exhaust vents for full front-to-back ventilation. The shield holder helps reduce noise and drag forces while holding the visor securely. The RPHA Premium Fit interior uses advanced anti-bacterial fabric with moisture-wicking and quick-drying properties, and the crown and cheek pads are removable and washable.

Additional comfort and fit features include 3D-contour cheek pads, interchangeable cheek pads throughout all sizes, reflective material, and an elongated shell with extended chin EPS for an encompassing full face-level fit. The helmet accommodates second-generation SMART HJC Bluetooth communication systems, sold separately.
