The HJC i71 Zest MC1 helmet combines an advanced polycarbonate composite shell with a lightweight design focused on fit and comfort. Its repositioned top vent and expanded mouth vents help maximize airflow for effective intake and ventilation during rides. The helmet features a Push/Eject face shield locking mechanism designed for straightforward operation, including when wearing gloves.

A smoke-tinted, anti-fog sun visor provides clear viewing and offers three-position adjustment. The visor can be positioned up to 10 mm forward for adaptable sun protection, while the bottom-positioned operating system allows quick activation. A multi-step adjustment feature also enables the visor to sit up to 10 mm closer to the face for personalized shading and comfort.

The anti-bacterial fabric interior supports moisture wicking and quick drying. Crown and cheek pads are removable and washable to help maintain a clean, comfortable interior. The helmet is designed to integrate with second-generation Smart HJC Bluetooth systems, which are sold separately. This all-in-one system is co-developed with SENA for HJC helmets and is integrated into the helmet structure to preserve aerodynamic efficiency and balanced weight distribution.

The HJC i71 includes a Shield Lock with a push-and-release system. This Small-size Zest MC1 helmet is identified by part number FP55NUS4D01V.
