The HJC i71 Zest MC1 helmet combines a lightweight advanced polycarbonate composite shell with a fit designed for enhanced comfort. Its repositioned top vent and expanded mouth vents support effective airflow and ventilation, helping riders maintain a more comfortable experience on the road.

The face shield uses an enhanced Push/Eject locking mechanism for added security and convenient operation, including when wearing gloves. The smoke-tinted sun visor features an anti-fog coating, a three-position adjustment system, and up to 10 mm of forward positioning for customizable sun protection. A bottom-positioned operation system enables quick activation.

An anti-bacterial fabric interior provides moisture-wicking and quick-drying performance. The crown and cheek pads are removable and washable, allowing for convenient maintenance. The helmet also includes a push-and-release shield lock system.

The i71 is designed to integrate with second-generation Smart HJC Bluetooth systems, which are sold separately. The all-in-one Smart HJC design is integrated into the helmet structure to support balanced weight distribution and aerodynamic efficiency. These systems are co-developed with SENA specifically for HJC helmets.
