Protection is built into the boot with double-density thermoplastic polyurethane ankle protector disks, an ergonomically contoured high-modulus TPU shin plate, and internal toe box and heel counter reinforcement. A leather shift pad adds abrasion resistance and structural protection, while the polymer insole with integrated steel shank reinforcement supports the arch area.

The three-buckle closure system features memory and an integrated quick-release and locking system.
