The ALPINESTARS TECH-AIR Tech-Air 5 Plasma Airbag System is engineered to fit under a jacket with an ultra-slim, lightweight profile for a discreet, adaptive feel. Its full-stretch construction contours to the airbag while promoting breathability and rider comfort, with moisture-wicking treatment to help manage comfort during use.

The system provides comprehensive upper-body coverage for the chest, ribs, back, and shoulders. An integrated Nucleon Plasma back protector delivers a balance of impact absorption, flexibility, ventilation, and comfort. The ultra-thin mono-layer stretch mesh chassis at the collar, underarms, and front of the body supports an adaptive fit while minimizing bulk.

A dedicated algorithm provides three riding modes: Street, Off-Road, and Race. Riders can switch modes using the System Button, while the LED button helps check system status. The single-canister design supports reduced weight, faster inflation, and simplified servicing, and the gas canister is replaceable by the user.

The quick-release cover attaches to the chassis with a hook-and-loop patch and provides access for gas inflator replacement. The ALPINESTARS TECH-AIR Tech-Air 5 Plasma System combines lightweight construction, airflow, flexible protection, and user-focused maintenance in a discreet under-jacket design.
