The ALPINESTARS TECH-AIR Tech-Air 5 Plasma Airbag System is engineered to fit discreetly under a jacket while providing comprehensive upper-body coverage. Its ultra-slim, lightweight profile creates an unobtrusive feel, while protection extends across the chest, ribs, back, and shoulders for a balance of comfort and coverage.

An integrated Nucleon Plasma back protector provides lightweight impact absorption along with breathability, ventilation, flexibility, and adaptability. The full-stretch construction features moisture-wicking treatment, while the ultra-thin mono-layer stretch mesh chassis contours to the airbag shape to minimize bulk and support airflow during use.

The system uses a dedicated algorithm with three riding modes: Street, Off-Road, and Race. After the system is switched on, the selected mode can be changed by pressing the system button for two seconds, with a solid green LED identifying the active mode. Pressing the LED button also checks system status, with a vibration indicating that the system is functioning correctly.

A single-canister design supports reduced weight, faster inflation, and simplified servicing. The gas canister is replaceable by the user, and the quick-release cover attaches to the chassis with a hook-and-loop patch for convenient access to the gas inflator. The system is finished in black and offered in small.
