The ALPINESTARS TECH-AIR Stella Tech-Air 3 is a lightweight, autonomous airbag system designed for touring riders, urban commuters, and light off-road adventure riders. It can be worn over or under a motorcycle jacket, including compatible Alpinestars jackets and leather or textile jackets with sufficient room for airbag inflation.

The wearable Tech-Air 3 system uses the Tech-Air 5 Street crash detection algorithm and six integrated sensors, including three accelerometers and three gyroscopes, to monitor dynamic street riding conditions. The system is designed to detect the start of a crash, including lowside and highside situations, and activate the airbag in milliseconds. It provides coverage across the rider’s full chest and full back when inflated.

An LED display on the front chest shows the system’s operational status, while an integrated haptic alert provides vibration confirmation when the system is armed and warns when the battery is running low. Bluetooth connectivity with the Tech-Air App allows riders to monitor operational and battery status and view a detailed ride map through MyRide.

The back includes an integrated pocket that can accommodate additional passive back protection. The ALPINESTARS TECH-AIR Stella Tech-Air 3 combines active airbag protection, wearable versatility, and connected status monitoring in a practical system for a variety of street riding scenarios.
