The Alpinestars Tech-Air 5 Plasma Airbag System is engineered to fit comfortably under a jacket with an ultra-slim, lightweight profile. Its discreet design provides an invisible-under-the-jacket feel while delivering comprehensive upper-body coverage for the chest, ribs, back, and shoulders.

Integrated Nucleon Plasma back protection combines lightweight impact absorption with breathability, ventilation, flexibility, and adaptive comfort. The full-stretch construction includes moisture-wicking treatment, while the ultra-thin mono-layer stretch mesh chassis contours to the airbag shape to minimize bulk and enhance airflow.

A dedicated algorithm provides Street, Off-Road, and Race riding modes. The system uses a single-canister deployment design, and the gas canister is replaceable by the user. A quick-release cover attaches to the chassis with a hook-and-loop patch for convenient access during gas inflator replacement.

The LED button provides system status information, while the riding mode LED indicates the selected mode with a solid green light. After the system is switched on correctly, the riding mode can be changed by pressing the system button for two seconds. The collar, underarms, and front of the body feature ultra-thin stretch mesh construction for an adaptive fit and breathability.
