The Alpinestars Supertech R7 Zeal Helmet combines a lightweight carbon composite outer shell with advanced aerodynamic and ventilation technologies for track and road riding. Its carbon, aramid fiber, and fiberglass construction uses pre-preg epoxy resin to provide strength, energy dissipation, radial strength, and penetration resistance.

An aerodynamic shell design with an integrated spoiler, lateral winglets, and collarbone recesses is engineered to reduce drag, turbulence, and neck strain while improving high-speed stability. The collarbone recesses incorporate PLASMA inserts designed for shock absorption and slide protection.

Inside, the multi-density EPS liner uses seven pieces in six densities for strategically positioned impact absorption. The size-specific EPS design matches the helmet’s outer shell configuration, while the low-friction surface coating is engineered to help reduce rotational acceleration during oblique impacts.

The helmet provides a 220-degree peripheral field of vision and a 57-degree vertical field of vision through its optimized eye port. Ten ventilation ports include six intakes and four exhausts, with chin-bar airflow directed toward the shield to help prevent fogging and misting. The ECE 22.06 homologated optical Class 1 shield features double-sided anti-scratch treatment and varies in thickness from 1.6 mm at the sides to 2.6 mm at the center.
