The Alpinestars Supertech R7 Helmet combines lightweight carbon composite construction with advanced aerodynamic design for track and road riding. Its multi-composite outer shell uses carbon, aramid fiber, and fiberglass layers with pre-preg epoxy resin to provide strength, energy dissipation, radial strength, and penetration resistance.

Designed for high-speed stability, the streamlined shell incorporates an integrated spoiler, lateral winglets, and collarbone recesses with PLASMA inserts for shock absorption during a slide. The helmet provides 220° of peripheral vision and 57° of vertical vision through its optimized eye port and head position.

Inside, a multi-density EPS liner uses seven pieces in six densities, positioned for impact absorption and matched to the helmet’s shell and size configuration. Alpinestars’ low-friction coating is designed to help reduce rotational acceleration during oblique impacts. Ten ventilation ports—six intake and four exhaust—support airflow and cooling, while chin vents direct air toward the shield to help prevent fogging and misting.
