The Alpinestars Supertech R7 Helmet combines a lightweight multi-composite outer shell with advanced aerodynamic performance for track and road riding. Carbon, aramid fiber, and fiberglass layers provide strength, energy dissipation, radial strength, and penetration resistance, while collarbone recesses with PLASMA inserts are designed to provide high-performance shock absorption during a slide.

Inside, the multi-density EPS liner uses seven pieces in six densities, positioned to support impact absorption and matched to the helmet’s shell sizing. The EPS surface incorporates Alpinestars’ low-friction coating, designed to reduce rotational acceleration of the brain during oblique impacts. The streamlined shell, integrated spoiler, and lateral winglets help minimize turbulence, drag, and neck strain while supporting high-speed stability.

Ten ventilation ports support airflow and cooling, including six intake ports in the chin guard and upper helmet, plus four exhaust ports at the chin bar and rear. The slidable top vent reveals three air channels, while chin vents direct incoming air toward the inside of the shield to help prevent fogging and misting. The helmet includes an ECE 22.06 homologated optical Class 1 shield with double-sided anti-scratch treatment, a 220-degree peripheral field of vision, and a 57-degree vertical field of vision.
