The Alpinestars Supertech R7 Helmet combines a lightweight carbon composite outer shell with advanced protection and performance technologies for track and road riding. Its multi-composite construction uses carbon, aramid fiber, and fiberglass layers with pre-preg epoxy resin to provide strength, energy dissipation, radial strength, and penetration resistance.

Designed for aerodynamic efficiency, the S-R7 features an integrated spoiler, lateral winglets, and collarbone recesses with PLASMA inserts for shock absorption during a slide. The streamlined shell helps reduce turbulence, drag, and neck strain while supporting high-speed stability. Its optimized eye port and riding position provide 220 degrees of peripheral vision and 57 degrees of vertical vision.

A multi-density EPS liner uses seven pieces in six densities, positioned for impact absorption and matched to the helmet’s shell configuration. Alpinestars’ low-friction coating creates a slip plane intended to reduce rotational acceleration during oblique impacts. Ventilation includes six intake ports and four exhaust ports, with chin vents channeling air toward the shield to help prevent fogging and misting.

The helmet includes an ECE 22.06 homologated optical Class 1 shield with double-sided anti-scratch treatment. The solid gloss white finish and small size complete the Supertech R7 configuration.
