The Alpinestars Supertech R7 Helmet combines a lightweight carbon composite shell with advanced aerodynamic and ventilation features for track and road riding. Its multi-composite construction uses carbon, aramid fiber, and fiberglass layers with pre-preg epoxy resin to provide strength, energy dissipation, radial strength, and penetration resistance.

The streamlined shell features collarbone recesses with PLASMA inserts designed for high-performance shock absorption and reduced injury risk during a slide. An integrated spoiler and lateral winglets help minimize turbulence and drag while improving high-speed stability. The helmet provides 220° of peripheral vision and 57° of vertical vision through its optimized eye port and head position.

Inside, a multi-density EPS liner uses seven pieces in six densities to support impact absorption. The liner is dimension-specific to each helmet size and matches the helmet’s outer shell sizing. Alpinestars’ low-friction coating creates a slip plane designed to help reduce rotational acceleration during oblique impacts.

Ten ventilation ports support airflow, including six intake ports in the chin guard and crown and four exhaust ports at the chin bar and rear. A sliding top vent reveals three air channels for cooling, while chin vents direct incoming air toward the inner side of the shield to help prevent fogging and misting. The ECE 22.06 homologated optical Class 1 shield has double-sided anti-scratch treatment.
