The Alpinestars Supertech R7 Helmet combines a lightweight multi-composite outer shell with advanced aerodynamic design for track and road riding. Carbon, aramid fiber, and fiberglass layers provide strength, energy dissipation, radial strength, and penetration resistance, while collarbone recesses incorporate PLASMA inserts designed for high-performance shock absorption during a slide.

A multi-density EPS liner uses seven pieces in six densities, positioned to support impact absorption and matched to the helmet’s shell sizing. The liner surface features Alpinestars’ low-friction coating, designed to help reduce rotational acceleration during oblique impacts. The helmet also provides a wide field of view with 220° peripheral vision and 57° vertical vision through its optimized eye port and head position.

High-speed stability comes from the integrated spoiler and lateral winglets, which are designed to minimize turbulence, reduce drag, and help limit neck strain. Airflow is managed through 10 ventilation ports, including six intake ports and four exhaust ports. Chin vents direct incoming air toward the shield to help prevent fogging and misting, while the slidable top vent reveals three air channels for increased airflow and cooling.

The helmet includes an ECE 22.06 homologated optical Class 1 shield with double-sided anti-scratch treatment. The shield thickness ranges from 1.6 mm at the sides to 2.6 mm at the center. This solid matte black helmet is supplied in size Large.
