The Alpinestars Supertech R7 Helmet combines a lightweight multi-composite shell with advanced aerodynamic and ventilation features for track and road riding. Its carbon, aramid fiber, and fiberglass construction uses pre-preg epoxy resin to provide strength, energy dissipation, radial strength, and penetration resistance. The streamlined shell includes collarbone recesses with PLASMA inserts designed for high-performance shock absorption and reduced injury risk during a slide.

Designed for visibility and riding comfort, the S-R7 provides 220° of peripheral vision and 57° of vertical vision through an optimized eye port and head position. Inside, a multi-density EPS liner uses seven pieces in six densities, positioned for impact absorption and matched to the helmet’s shell sizing. The EPS surface includes Alpinestars’ low-friction coating, designed to help reduce rotational acceleration during oblique impacts.

An integrated spoiler and lateral winglets help minimize turbulence and drag while improving high-speed stability. Airflow is managed through 10 ventilation ports, including six intake ports in the chin guard and crown and four exhaust ports at the chin bar and rear. Chin vents direct incoming air toward the inner shield to help prevent fogging and misting, while the slidable top vent opens three air channels for cooling performance.

The helmet includes an ECE 22.06 homologated optical Class 1 shield with double-sided anti-scratch treatment. Shield thickness ranges from 1.6 mm at the sides to 2.6 mm at the center. This solid gloss white helmet is offered in Large.
