The Alpinestars Supertech R7 Helmet combines a lightweight multi-composite shell with aerodynamic performance and advanced impact protection for track and road riding. Its carbon, aramid fiber, and fiberglass construction uses pre-preg epoxy resin to deliver strength, radial resistance, penetration resistance, and energy dissipation.

An aerodynamically optimized shell, integrated spoiler, lateral winglets, and collarbone recesses help reduce turbulence, drag, and neck strain while supporting high-speed stability. The helmet also features two PLASMA inserts in the collarbone recesses for shock absorption and reduced injury risk during a slide.

Inside, the multi-density EPS liner uses seven pieces in six densities, with sizing-specific construction matched to the helmet’s outer shell. Alpinestars’ low-friction coating is designed to help reduce rotational acceleration during oblique impacts. The optimized eye port provides 220° of peripheral vision and 57° of vertical vision.

Ten ventilation ports support airflow and cooling, including six intake ports and four exhaust ports. Chin-guard airflow is directed toward the inner shield to help prevent fogging and misting, while the slidable top vent reveals air channels for increased ventilation. The ECE 22.06-homologated optical Class 1 shield features double-sided anti-scratch treatment.
