The Alpinestars Supertech R7 Helmet combines a lightweight carbon composite outer shell with advanced aerodynamics, optimized ventilation, and a precision-engineered EPS liner for track and road riding. Its streamlined shell uses carbon, aramid fiber, and fiberglass layers with pre-preg epoxy resin to provide strength, energy dissipation, radial strength, and penetration resistance.

Designed for aerodynamic performance, the S-R7 features an integrated spoiler, lateral winglets, and collarbone recesses with PLASMA inserts. This configuration is engineered to reduce turbulence, drag, and neck strain while supporting high-speed stability. The helmet provides 220° peripheral vision and 57° vertical vision through its optimized eye port and rider head position.

The multi-density EPS liner uses seven pieces in six densities, positioned for targeted impact absorption and matched to the helmet’s outer shell size. Alpinestars’ low-friction coating is designed to help reduce rotational acceleration during oblique impacts. A total of 10 ventilation ports includes six intake ports and four exhaust ports, while the slidable top vent reveals three air channels for increased airflow. Chin vents direct incoming air toward the shield to help prevent fogging and misting.

An ECE 22.06 homologated optical Class 1 shield includes double-sided anti-scratch treatment. Shield thickness ranges from 1.6 mm at the sides to 2.6 mm at the center. This solid gloss black helmet is offered in size 2XL.
