The Alpinestars Supertech R7 Helmet combines a lightweight carbon composite shell with advanced aerodynamic, ventilation, and impact-management technologies for track and road riding. Its multi-composite construction uses carbon, aramid fiber, and fiberglass layers with pre-preg epoxy resin to deliver strength, energy dissipation, radial strength, and penetration resistance.

A multi-density EPS liner uses seven pieces in six densities, strategically positioned for impact absorption and matched to the helmet’s shell structure. The EPS surface incorporates Alpinestars’ low-friction coating, designed to help reduce rotational acceleration during oblique impacts. Collarbone recesses include PLASMA inserts for shock absorption and slide-impact protection.

The streamlined shell integrates a spoiler and lateral winglets to reduce turbulence, drag, and neck strain while improving high-speed stability. Ten ventilation ports include six intake ports and four exhaust ports. Adjustable top ventilation channels and chin-bar extractor vents help increase airflow, while chin intake air is directed toward the shield to help prevent fogging and misting.

For clear, wide-angle visibility, the helmet provides 220° of peripheral vision and 57° of vertical vision through its optimized eye port and head position.
