The Alpinestars Supertech R7 Helmet combines a lightweight carbon composite outer shell with advanced aerodynamic and ventilation technologies for track and road riding. Its multi-composite construction uses carbon, aramid fiber, and fiberglass layers with pre-preg epoxy resin to provide strength, radial resistance, penetration resistance, and energy dissipation.

A streamlined shell design incorporates collarbone recesses with PLASMA inserts engineered for shock absorption and reduced injury risk during a slide. The helmet provides a 220-degree peripheral field of vision and 57-degree vertical field of vision through an optimized eye port and rider head position.

Inside, the multi-density EPS liner uses seven pieces in six densities, positioned to support impact absorption. The liner is matched to the helmet’s shell sizing and features Alpinestars’ low-friction coating, designed to help reduce rotational acceleration during oblique impacts. The aerodynamic shell includes an integrated spoiler and lateral winglets to minimize turbulence, drag, and neck strain during high-speed riding.

Airflow is managed through 10 ventilation ports, including six intake ports and four exhaust ports. Chin vents direct incoming air toward the inside of the shield to help prevent fogging, while the sliding top vent reveals three air channels for increased cooling. The ECE 22.06 homologated optical Class 1 shield features double-sided anti-scratch treatment and a variable thickness design for clear, durable coverage.
