The Alpinestars Supertech R10 helmet combines a multi-composite outer shell with a layered construction of 3K high-density carbon, unidirectional carbon composite, aramid fiber, and fiberglass. These materials are bonded with epoxy resin applied to pre-preg fiber to help optimize the resin-to-fiber ratio, shell strength, mechanical performance, weight, and energy management.

Inside, four inner shell options support a tuned fit intended to improve comfort, reduce weight, and enhance helmet performance during an impact. The eight-piece, multi-density EPS liner uses six strategically positioned densities to help absorb impact forces while maintaining a close fit. A smooth, specially coated EPS surface is designed to reduce friction between the liner and comfort padding, supporting management of linear and oblique forces.

The A-Head Fitment System allows adjustment of the helmet’s height and angle for a personalized setup. Aerodynamic development included CFD simulations, wind-tunnel validation, and track testing, with lateral winglets and visor turbulators supporting aerodynamic stability, drag performance, and aero-acoustic performance.

Ventilation is provided through 11 ventilation points, excluding the eye port, including seven intakes and four exhausts. Air ducts integrated through the EPS liner direct airflow over and around the rider’s head before exhausting it through the rear. Adjustable top, chin, and rear ventilation features support airflow, hot-air extraction, and fogging reduction around the shield area. This small helmet is finished in Arius Gloss Black/White/Blue.
