The Alpinestars SMX Air Jacket combines a multi-panel 450D polyfabric construction with extensive ventilation for a balance of strength, comfort, and airflow. Laser-perforated chest panels and 2D mesh stretch inserts across the front, sleeves, and back promote ventilation during rides.

A removable windbreaker allows the jacket to be adapted quickly to changing weather conditions. Strategically positioned stretch inserts, including panels along the torso and upper back, support freedom of movement and an adaptive fit. The sport fit features an elongated rear for added coverage and wind protection in the riding position.

Accordion stretch panel inserts are designed to accommodate the Alpinestars Airbag System, allowing room for expansion when the airbag inflates while maintaining an anatomical fit when the system is not fitted. The jacket also features pre-curved elbows, a soft-touch synthetic suede collar and cuffs, and waist adjusters for riding comfort and fit refinement.
