The Alpinestars SMX Air Jacket combines a multi-panel 450D polyfabric construction with strategically placed ventilation and stretch zones for comfortable performance in warm-weather riding conditions. Laser-perforated chest panels and 2D mesh stretch inserts across the front, sleeves and back promote airflow, while the sport fit and elongated rear provide added coverage and wind protection in the riding position.

A removable windbreaker allows the jacket to be adapted to changing weather conditions. Extensive stretch panels at the torso sides and upper back support shoulder mobility, particularly in a racing crouch, while pre-curved elbows help reduce rider fatigue. Accordion stretch inserts are designed to accommodate an Alpinestars airbag system and maintain an anatomical fit when the system is not fitted.

Comfort-focused details include a soft-touch synthetic suede collar and cuffs, waist adjusters for a performance fit, and interior and exterior pockets for everyday practicality. The jacket is ready for Tech-Air® 7x, Tech-Air® 5 PLASMA and Tech-Air® 3 systems.
