The Alpinestars SMX Air Jacket combines a multi-panel 450D polyfabric construction with extensive airflow features for riding comfort and durability. Laser-perforated chest panels and 2D mesh stretch inserts across the front, sleeves, and back promote ventilation, while strategically positioned stretch panels support mobility and an adaptive fit.

A removable windbreaker allows the jacket to be adapted quickly to changing weather conditions. The sport fit features an elongated rear for added coverage and wind protection in the riding position, with pre-curved elbows, waist adjusters, and a soft-touch synthetic suede collar and cuffs supporting rider comfort and fit.

Accordion stretch panel inserts are designed to accommodate the Alpinestars airbag system, allowing expansion when the airbag inflates while maintaining an anatomical fit when the system is not installed. The jacket also includes interior and exterior pockets for everyday practicality and is ready for Tech-Air® 7x, Tech-Air® 5 PLASMA, and Tech-Air® 3 systems.
