The Alpinestars SMX Air Jacket combines a multi-panel 450D polyfabric construction with strategically placed stretch zones for comfort, mobility and abrasion resistance. Its sport fit features an elongated rear for additional coverage and wind protection while riding, with pre-curved elbows designed to help reduce rider fatigue.

Laser-perforated chest panels and 2D mesh stretch inserts across the front, sleeves and back promote airflow and ventilation. Extensive stretch panels along the torso and upper back provide an adaptive fit while supporting shoulder movement, particularly in a racing crouch. A removable windbreaker allows the jacket to be adapted quickly to changing weather conditions.

Strategically positioned accordion stretch panels accommodate the Alpinestars Airbag System, supporting expansion when the airbag inflates while maintaining an anatomical fit when the system is not installed. The jacket is Tech-Air® 7x, Tech-Air® 5 PLASMA and Tech-Air® 3 ready. Waist adjusters, interior and exterior pockets, and a soft-touch synthetic suede collar and cuffs add practical functionality and riding comfort.
