The Alpinestars SMX Air Jacket combines airflow, mobility, and adaptable coverage for motorcycle riding. Its removable windbreaker can be quickly detached to help adjust the jacket to changing weather conditions, while the sport fit and elongated rear provide improved coverage and wind protection in the riding position.

Laser-perforated chest panels and 2D mesh stretch inserts across the front, sleeves, and back promote airflow and ventilation. Extensive stretch panels on the torso sides and upper back support an adaptive fit and help enhance shoulder movement, particularly when riding in a racing crouch. Strategically positioned stretch inserts and pre-curved elbows further support freedom of movement and help reduce rider fatigue.

Constructed from multi-panel 450D polyfabric, the jacket is designed for strength, comfort, and abrasion resistance. Accordion stretch panel inserts accommodate an Alpinestars Airbag System, allowing expansion when the airbag inflates while maintaining an anatomical fit when the system is not fitted. The jacket is Tech-Air® 7x, Tech-Air® 5 PLASMA, and Tech-Air® 3 ready.

A soft-touch synthetic suede collar and cuffs provide a comfortable feel, while waist adjusters help create an optimized performance fit.
