The Alpinestars AST v3 Air Motorcycle Jacket combines dual-tech mesh construction with strategic laser perforations to provide airflow and rider comfort. Extensive perforations across the chest, back, and sleeves work with 2D mesh stretch inserts on the front, sleeves, and back to promote ventilation during rides.

Its sport fit features an elongated rear for additional coverage and wind protection in the riding position. Stretch panels along the torso and upper back support freedom of movement, while strategically positioned accordion stretch inserts accommodate an Alpinestars Airbag System and help maintain an anatomical fit when the system is not installed.

The jacket uses multi-panel 450D polyfabric construction for strength, comfort, and abrasion resistance. Pre-curved elbows help reduce rider fatigue, while cuff and waist adjusters support an optimized performance fit. The aerodynamically engineered cuffs are designed to reduce drag and pressure while aiding comfort when worn with Alpinestars gloves.

An integrated low-profile collar helps reduce neck pressure, helmet chafing, and flapping at speed. Interior and exterior pockets provide practical storage, and the jacket is ready for Tech-Air® 7x, Tech-Air® 5 PLASMA, and Tech-Air® 3 systems.
