The boot features a TPU lower shell with a dedicated shifter-area design for reduced front roll and easier shift lever control. A strengthened metal shank, reinforced toe zone, contoured TPU calf protector, and extensive TPU coverage across the toes, foot, heel, ankle, calf, and shin provide impact and abrasion resistance. A rear bridge adds protection for the Achilles tendons.

Medial and lateral double-pivot systems support flexibility and precise control, while low-profile ankle pivots provide freedom of movement. Shock-absorbing inserts in the front flexion zone, along with padding at the ankles and shin plate, help increase impact absorption. The medial wall includes a dedicated design for enhanced feel, support, grip, protection, and durability on the bike.

Polymer buckles and an aluminum frame use self-aligning, quick-release closures for secure adjustment. The compact TPU shin plate includes reinforced hook-and-loop closure, while the soft microfiber gaiter helps seal out water and dirt. A replaceable, dual-compound vulcanized rubber sole includes an embedded wear-limit indicator, with an aramid fiber layer supporting the boot structure beneath the indicator.
